The Power Box Version 3 (PB3) from Hydroxy Technologies Corp. has been designed to be
fully compatible with existing VMU
Series 2 systems as an upgrade to the previous
Power Box Version 2 (Red).
But now, the new Power Box 3 is autonomous and can be used without a VMU if the user does not need an LCD display! You will need to add an optional USB cable if no VMU is purchased. Once you connect the Powerbox 3 to your computer, you can use any terminal program set to 9600 bps, No Parity, 8 bits, 1 stop bit (9600/N/8/1) and interact with the PB3 via its inbuild management console. Please refer to the PB3 manual for command summary and programming examples. It is recommended that only advanced users and dealers use the USB interface!
- 30 A continuous (120 A surge) rating works with many HHO cells
- Up to 3 slave power boxes can be managed, for a total of 4 cells
(slave modules sold separately)
- Current sampling and current-limiting through the AutoAmp feature
for the master and up to 3 slave boxes
- With AutoAmp, you can use extra electrolyte and set the MaxAmp value
to limit the current to each cell.
Works great for diesels and large vehicles!

Over-Amp and Auto-Amp features on each channel. 2 power boxes per channel.
- Works with a VMU for displaying and adjusting parameters while
driving (requires optional VMU)
- Works with a PC for adjusting parameters (requires optional USB
cable and a PC)
- Temperature Sampling, up to 8 sensors (requires optional
temperature sensor)

- 4 Oxygen Sensor Circuits (EFIE), separately adjustable, 0 to 1 VDC
- 4 MAP/MAF Sensor management: Works with frequency-based
MAF Sensors or standard voltage-based MAP sensors
- 2 Auxiliary Sensor management, e.g. Intake Air Temperature (IAT)
or Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT)
- 6 separately adjustable and chainable digital resistors
(4 x 100 kΩ and 2 x 50 kΩ)
- Main Pulse Width Modulator (PWM) 4 x MOSFET
- Auxiliary Pulse Width Modulator (PWM) (for a DC pump, used with the
M-Cell)
- Current sampling and current-limiting through the AutoAmp
feature for the master and up to 3 slave boxes
- Fuel Injector Cut-Off (FICO): Enables up to 4 fuel injectors
to be shut off to save gas while cruising. (Must purchase optional FICO cable)
