Defective or Damaged?

During the first 30 days, any product is eligible for a return if it is defective. Get an RMA (see below)immediately and ship it back to us within 10 business days. You will pay for the return shipping.

We sent you the wrong item?

Sorry about that. Sometimes our shipping department makes mistakes. If you notify us within 5 days of the arrival of the item, we will pay for the return shipping by UPS ground or parcel post. Get an RMA (see below) immediately and ship it within 10 business days.

Where to send a “CORE” for credit?

If the part you are ordering includes a CORE charge, this means that you must return the old part in order for it to be refurbished. This process should be relatively simple, but please remember that you need to contact us to know where to send the CORE. If you do not send in the CORE, you will lose your deposit. Please follow the same procedures as obtaining an RMA (see below). The CORE must be received within 30 days from the time of purchase. You will receive “Credit On REturn” of the item.

Don’t like it?

That’s fine. If the item has been opened, you can return it to us for a restocking fee of 20 to 40%. The fee will be assessed depending on the type of item and its condition. If the product is still in its original condition, we may be able to refund 100% of the purchase price, depending on the item. You must contact us for an RMA (see below), and we will try to determine beforehand what the restocking fee might be. You will be notified by email when we determine that a returned item will be charged this fee. This policy is restricted to items purchased within the last 30 days. You must pay for shipping.

Ordered the wrong product and you wish to do an even or similar item exchange?

No problem, this happens all the time. We sell a lot of similar items, and things can get confusing. Get an RMA (see below) immediately to tell us the situation and the product you wish to order in its place. You can either order the other product immediately or wait until the first order is credited to your account. If the item is in its original condition, we can sometimes issue a 100% refund. If the item has been damaged, then we reserve the right to issue a partial refund. If you send in a product that has been opened and used, then we may charge a restocking fee of just 10% to 20%. But if you do not order a replacement part, then your restocking fee will double to 20% to 40%, as if you just Don’t Like it. (See above.) You will be notified by email when we determine that a returned item will be charged this fee. You must pay for shipping.

RMA – Return Merchandise Authorization

If you need an RMA or if you have a major problem with any order, please use  This Form for assistance. Please tell us the product name, order number, and your first and last names. Describe the reason for the RMA request. If approved, we will reply with the location to send back your return. In most cases, we will require that you send products back using UPS, FedEx, or another carrier. If you must use the postal service, please request this.

When you send in your returned item, you must do the following:

  1. Obtain an RMA from This Form.
  2. Send only insured packages (Insurance is usually free on items $100 or less).
  3. Write your RMA number on the package.
  4. Include all items that came with the product.
  5. Package and ship items with approved boxes, using packaging material that will prevent any damage to the item.
  6. Obtain a tracking number that can be used to determine if a package has arrived.
  7. Pay for shipping. We will not reimburse you for shipping charges unless we sent you an item in error.
You must send the product back to us in its original box and packaging, along with all parts, manuals, etc. You must pay the return shipping and ship it within 5 business days of receiving the RMA. We require that you insure your shipment, because you bear all responsibility for sending us the returned item, and if we receive it damaged or do not receive it, we will not be able to credit you for the return.

All non-defective returns may impose a restocking fee, depending on the quality of the item returned to us. Returning an item to us in its original condition may impose a 10% restocking fee unless you are ordering an item of similar kind and value.

Has it been past 30 days since you ordered?

We hope that you are fully satisfied with the products you order from us. If you have a warranty claim, please direct your request to the manufacturer. If you have difficulty getting a service complaint answered, you may contact us.

Our Procedures for Issuing Return Credit

If you return a defective item or a CORE for credit, then you will receive a full credit for the item less shipping charges. Sales tax will be refunded.

If you wish us to send you a replacement for a defective or damaged item, then we will send the item without charging you additional shipping charges. However, the RMA procedures (above) apply.

Items returned without an RMA number attached may be refused or denied credit.

With all returns of items that are not defective, we will determine if the product can be sold again as a new product, a “like new” product, or must be salvaged as a returned item. We will make a fair determination – fair both to you and to any future customer who receives the item. If it is no longer new, we will usually charge a fair restocking fee by issuing a partial credit. We will not credit you for shipping and handling charges.

If you purchased products using a credit card, we will credit your account immediately once the item has been received and inspected. Please note that this procedure can seem to take a long time for a number of reasons. A total of seven to fourteen business days can be expected for the process of shipping to us, inspecting the product, crediting your card, and for the credit to appear on your credit card statement. If this happens to occur during the time in which your card is due for payment to your credit card issuer, you must pay the bill and not dispute the charge. In many cases, if the return credit appears before your bill is due, your credit card issuer may allow you to pay a different amount, as if the original charge never occurred. Contact your credit card company with questions pertaining to this process. We have no control over the way your credit card must be paid.

If you purchased products using a check, we will issue a check in your name to the address on file. The procedure of issuing a check may take ten to twenty business days to receive a credit.

If you purchased using an electronic payment (e.g. PayPal), then we will send your credit to the email address that was used to send us the original payment. The procedure of issuing a credit may take seven to ten business days.

If you do not request an RMA and return the item to us within thirty days of the date we shipped your original order, your return may be denied and no credit will be issued.
