Above Technology will receive orders at any time during the day, however, your products will only ship out near the end of a business day. Because there is always a delay between placing the order and shipping the products, we have determined that it is best to only charge your credit card when an item is shipped. This process is very simple: when you place an order, we will authorize your credit card. When we ship the product, your credit card will be charged.
There are a few circumstances in which the order fulfillment process will need to be altered somewhat. For example, if we discover that the product you ordered was not in stock, there could be a short delay while we backorder the product. If the delay is just a business day or two, we may not need to contact you. If the delay will exceed three business days, we will contact you and allow you to decide whether to continue with the backorder process. Since your credit card has never been charged, the authorization request will automatically drop from your credit card.
If there is a change in pricing after an order has been placed and it is due to a typographical error, we will notify you of the correct price and allow you to cancel or re-submit your order.
If there are multiple shipments, we may charge your card in sequence over a period of a few days as the products are shipped.
If you pay using an alternate means, your payment will be accepted for the full amount of charges. We will notify you if your shipment will be significantly delayed and requires backordering.
Under unusual circumstances, there may be a discrepancy between the total of the order you originally placed and the final total that will be charged. This could be due to typographical errors (see Disclaimer) or shipping charges which were miscalculated. In some cases, a product becomes permanently unavailable. We will make every effort to inform you of any difference in the price of the total bill.
Shipping
We will normally ship products using UPS Ground, although there are circumstances in which we could use another carrier. If your item is too large or too heavy (150+ pounds) to be shipped by UPS, then a freight company (common carrier) will deliver the product. In all cases we will send you the tracking number(s) for each shipment to the email address you provided.
If an item is damaged during shipment, please notify us immediately. See our RMA procedures [[LINK]] for more information.
Freight Shipments
If your product is shipped via
common carrier, we will normally need to give the freight company your phone
number(s). Prices will differ depending on whether you have a loading dock and
whether you have the product shipped to a residence. You may need to arrange for
delivery to an alternate location in which an adult can receive a
shipment.
