Premeasured Potassium Hydroxide (KOH)
Potassium hydroxide is the chemical which is mixed with distilled water for your HHO cell.
This mixture is called electrolyte. Each cell needs a specific amount, or concentraion, of electrolyte in order to run properly.
If there is too much KOH, a cold cell will be slow to heat up in the morning or in cold weather.
If there is too little KOH, the cell may put out very little HHO even when the cell is hot.

Warning: KOH is caustic. It is a strong base. Handle with extreme care. Avoid contact with skin. You must be over 18 to purchase KOH. This item cannot be shipped outside of the United States. KOH solutions will cause immediate and permanent damage, discoloration, and corrosion to certain metals, especially aluminum. Potassium hydroxide will react vigorously with any strong acid and should not be mixed with any other chemicals. Keep out of reach of children. Use baking soda to clean up spills and dispose properly. Do not store in metal containers. Keep package sealed until ready to use, and then discard the container promptly.  |
